FASHION DESIGN INTERNSHIP

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain the visual aspects of the showroom so that it is ready for client appointments and meetings.

  • Design and execute marketing content for email campaigns, social media advertisements and promotions, and other platforms that meet The Tailory New York’s branding objectives.

  • Assist in planning and executing events, fashion shows, and photoshoots.

  • Comfortable visiting and communicating with businesses in the garment district.

  • Perform administrative tasks, such as client correspondence and appointment scheduling.

  • Run errands in the Garment District and handle deliveries.

  • Assist with daily activities and tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

  • Strong hand-sketching skills and basic knowledge of overall garment construction.

  • Excellent sense of high fashion.

  • Keen awareness of hospitality and anticipation to client needs.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong computer skills, specifically Excel, Photoshop and Illustrator software.

  • Highly organized, motivated, and a team player.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to wear multiple hats.

  • Willingness to go the extra mile.
